On Saturday June 1st Charlotte and Perrine were at the start of the 2nd World Cup in Poland. As in Heubach the weather was bad and it rained during the whole race. Nevertheless Perrine and Charlotte put down a good performance. Perrine finished in 6th place with the same number of penalty points as Lua Vizcaino. Lua became 5th as she had 1 zero less. Charlotte ended on a nice 7th place, her best performance so far at a World Cup.
In the overall standings of the World Cup the two girls are firmly in the top 10. Perrine goes from 9th place to 6. Charlotte goes from 11th place to 7.
Also on the UCI ranking both Charlotte and Perrine are ranked in the top 10. Charlotte moves one place up to 9th, Perrine, thanks to the C1 races in Belgium, is now ranked 2nd.
There was a lot of press in Poland and especially Charlotte seemed to be one of the favorites for the local photographers. Here is a link to some website where you can view the pictures:
