FlyerA5The first round of the Swiss Cup was held on Saturday in Savièse, it was organized by the Trials Club of Chablais. As in France, the Swiss Cup introduced the new UCI Trials regulation in 2015 with 2-minute per section

7.1.085 Time in Zone: 2 more minutes, and 10 seconds started 1 additional penalty point. 7.1.087 the arrows and the gates shall always be taken with the front first, otherwise 5 penalty points. 7.1.106 Exceeding the competition time. again 1 point per minute

Jérôme Chapuis won the event with 5 points. He beat the Junior World Champion, German Dominik Oswald with just 1 point. Loris Braun completes this first podium of the Swiss Cup season with 9 points. Lucien Leiser, brilliant last year at the international level, finishes at a point of the podium. This is a season that starts well and announces to be a great battle between the three leaders of the Swiss trial. It is German Bjorn Buhrer winning the junior category before Yann Fringeli and Loïc Revigue. Christian Segrist wins in front of Arthur Prod’hom and Colin Dubuis in the Cadet category. Mattia Patelli with 7 points wins the race ahead of Lars Lucchinetti and Conrad Dupuis in the minime category. With one point Patrick Eggimann wins in Benjamin before Kuzma Rehacek and Florian Hofer. As for the girls, Jules Morard wins with 8 points after a tie to the number of zero from Theo Benosmane . Sheyla Wipf completes the podium. Here are all the results.
