Aurélien Fontenoy had his best season this year since winning the Junior World Championships. He was on the podium of a World Cup for the first time this seaons, finished 2nd in the World Championship and is 2nd in the overall ranking of the UCI. The year soon ends and Aurélien wants to say a couple of words:

“Thank you for your confidence all along the year 2012.
It has been a very emotional year.
I will never forget this season with my first ever World Cup podiums and being Vice World Champion, something I never thought possible after having a fracture in my wrist 2 weeks before the World Championship.
I had a lot of pain, but the motivatoin was a lot stronger then the pain.
I am preparing myself for 2013, and hope to do even better!
