Kenny is still suffering from an injury in his left wrist due to a nasty fall during the World Cup in Aalter. You will surely remember the Superfinal in Aalter where is finished 2nd in great pain. Kenny went to the hospital after the Word Cup where he had surgery on his scaphoid. After a forced express recovery Kenny restarted in the World Cup in Antwerp. He also participated in the World Championship in Austria where he finished 3rd.
But his wrist never fully recovered and he never had the mobility he needed to execute all his moves without pain. This Friday, November 30th, Kenny had surgery again so the injury could be cured for good.
Here is what Kenny published on his Facebook: Here I am again in the hospital. Just had surgery on my scaphoid again, it never healed after the first treatment back in June from the gnarly crash. Now I’m off season it’s the time to recover from it . Can’t wait to ride again!!
